What three folders does c:\ contain?
Documents and Settings, Program Files, and WINNT
Documents and Settings
Contains a directory for each individual User login on a specific computer.
Program Files
Contains the folders and files of installed software, other than the operating system (third party software).
WINNT
Contains the operating system itself. This directory will attempt to protect itself from the generic user by generating a warning message when a user attempts to access the files. The user must choose the show files option to view this directory.
System32
It's the majority directory. It contains most of the system configuration files.
Attribute A
Archive- Shows that file has not been backed up.
Attribute R
Read only- protects the file from being over written.
Attribute H
Hidden- hides from directory listings.
Attribute S
System- denotes a system file.
Attribute C
Compression- denotes a compressed file or directory.
Attribute E
Encryption- shows encrypted file or directory.
Path
Will show absolute path of file or directory.

You can only share folders over a network.

Permissions that are given over the wire and are found in the sharing tab or right click the folder and find sharing. you can put sharing permissions on folders, but not files.
