A fall assessment upon admission, and throughout stay. Other responsiblities are give pt. non skid footwear, keeping floor clutter free, providing adequate lighting(including night lights), orienting pt to the surrounding and make sure paitent understands how to use assistive devices,answer the call light promptley, bed rails up, wheels should be locked, bed/chair alarms on.
