Bacillary angiomatosis - occurs in immunocompromised people (Commonly HIV infected patients) but also transmitted via cat scratches and bites. Fevers, chills, headaches, raised, red vascular lesions on the skin |

WHat is the other disease process that is very similar to bacillary angiomatosis? |
kaposi sarcoma - both present with red vascularized lesions on skin and present in immunocompromised people. differentiate with a skin biopsy and stain with wartharin starry stain. |

cat-scratch disease is usually self-limiting and doesent require treatment, but if its really severe you can use azithromycin to help. (macrolides) [crows!] |
