BUILD
Fill glass w/ ice and pour in ingredients
STIR
Fill glass w/ ice, build, then stir with straw
STIR *martini/manhattan
Stirring mixture in a shaker glass of ice with a bar spoon, then strain w/ julep strainer
ROLL
Fill a glass w/ ice, build, pour into shaker tin/glass and quickly back into the orginal glass
SHAKE
Fill glass with ice, build, pour into shaker tin and shake. Then pour into orginal glass.
SHAKE AND STRAIN (over ice)
Pour ingredients into shaker tin filled half w/ ince, shake, and strain into glas

**Shooters/martinis- pour into glass filled w/ice
FLOAT
Gently pour on a top of drink
LAYER
Spirits/ingredients poured on top of one another. Bar spoon used to break the fall so new ingredient layers gently on top of the spirit below. Before you begin, gather all bottles and line next to you
BLEND
Mix in an electric blender
RIM
To add something to the rim of the glass like salt to a margarita glass
CHILL
Add ice and then water to the glass and allow to chill while making the drink. When ready, empty the glass and pour the drink. (martini/cocktail glasses)
MUDDLE
To crush up ingredients (ie. fruits/leaves) with a muddler to extract oils and flavor
FLAME
To set a drink on fire. (ie. float 151 rum on top of a drink then light w/ a match

*grand marnier+sambuca+cinnamon spinkled on top of a flame creates a mini firework show
