Organisms with no defined nucleus , or membrane bound organelles

Organisims with a nucleus and organelles

A bacterium with a simple cell, with rigid walls and often a flagella for movement

Consist of prokaryotes, and live in very harsh environments

Methanogens

Produced by archeabacteria. They produce methane as a mrthabolic byproduct in anoxic conditions.

Obtain energy by oxidasation of chemicals (sulfur, iron, magnesium, nitrogen)
