1.Have the operator set back pressure to 50PSI 2.close all drains, remove all open tags, complete ammonia drain checklist 3.fill abatement sump & start abatement pump 4.verify abatement water bypass valves at the vaporizers are closed 5.verify manual back pressure valve is open 6.verify chiller bypass line is closed 7.verify granulator vaporizer bypass line is closed 8.verify ammonia relief valves are srt up correctly 9.close steam block valve to pren. sparges 10.verify chiller is set up correctly 11.verify abatement pump pressure is sufficient 12.set up 1" return line to ammonia header 13.slowly open main ammonia block valve 14.inspect entire system for leaks
