Male: dorsal surface and bulbous of penis

Action:
Male: constricts urethra & erects penis
Female: erects clit, most sexual
Ischiocavernosus (pelvis floor & perineum)
Origin: ischium
Insertion: corpus cavernosum (spongy and highly vascularized erectile tissue of genitals)
Innervation: perineal nerve
Action: compresses the base of the penis or clit
Levator ani (pelvis floor & perineum)
Origin: pubis & ischium
Insertion: sacrum and coccyx
Innervation: fourth sacral nerve
Action: elevates anus and supports viscera*

*weakens with age, yoga & pilates prevents drop of abdominal contents
External Anal Sphincter (pelvis floor & perineum)
Origin: coccyx
Insertion: central perineal tendon
Innervation: 4th sacral nerve and pudendal nerve
