Safety Award



The Safety Award is awarded to teams that proved safety was a top priority for their team. It is awarded to the teams who adhered to good safety standards at all times, including the wearing of safety glasses, closed toe shoes, and control of the robot at all times, among others. Teams that have a unique approach to maintaining a safe space will also be considered for this award.


Clara Barton Award for Helping Hands


The Clara Barton Award for Helping Hands is awarded to teams that demonstrate a willingness and excitement for helping other teams in a time of need. This can be demonstrated by sharing ideas or resources, helping repair a robot, and giving support and encouragement to other teams.


Mansa Musa Award for Fundraising



The Mansa Musa Award for Fundraising is awarded to teams that demonstrated a good-faith effort towards fundraising, successful or not. This award recognizes any team that communicated with FIRST Global on a regular basis regarding fundraising and documented their progress.


Outstanding Mentor


The Outstanding Mentor Award is given to Mentors who were committed to their students and inspired them to keep going, despite any challenges.


Judges Award (optional): technical


The Judges Award (technical) is awarded to teams that may not have fit the Requirement of any specific award, but their journey, interactions with other teams, behavior, or other Requirement that the Judges see which deserve recognition
