White Dwarf
•White dwarfs are only about as big as the Earth, but have the mass of the Sun!
•Are small and dense and have strong gravity.
•But White Dwarfs are “dead”: they do not have fusion.
Death of Heavyweight Stars

•Heavyweight stars eventually expand, and turn into
SuperGiants.
