What creative strategies can you boost /improve the number and quality of ideas that you generate?

The creative strategies that I can use are my imagination, brainstorming and experimenting.

How does are everyday experience influence what we decide to create?

We can use or hobbies or what we listen to. This can influence or ideas to make a better composition.

What considerations might lead you to modify your original idea or plan when you are in the process of developing your artwork?

Some considerations that I might take are feedback from myself, my peers and my teachers.

What do you associate with the colour red? How would these associations influence your use of red in a self portrait? How might other people's associations with the colour affect their perception of your portrait?

I associate the colour red with a fun colour and it associates with my favorite hockey team. This would influence my ideas because I put my favorite hockey teams in most of my artwork. Others might see red as a hateful colour that is known to be taken as anger or blood.

How could you use found materials to create an artwork that shows concern for the environment?

I could use garbage that was left on the ground to show that we shouldn't be littering.

What are some ways in which you could create an image without using a pencil or paper?

You could use a collage or use paint and a canvas.

What criteria would you use when selecting an artwork to present to your class? Would you use different criteria when selecting a work for a community art show? Why?

I would use the principles of elements and design. I wouldn't use a different criteria for an art show.

What, if anything, would you do differently when creating your artwork if you knew it was going to be displayed in a public space? Why?

I would put more effort into it. So it looks better.
