Divisibility

Divisibility is a property of an integer number to be divisible by another number.

The rules for divisibility are used to know if a number n is divisible by another number m without solving the division.

By 2:

A number is divisible by 2 if it's last digit is 0 or an even number.

By 3:

A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3.

By 4:

A number is divisible by 4 if it's last 2 digits are 00 or form a number which is divisible by 4.

Proportion and Properties

Properties

Properties

A ratio is a relationship between two numbers of the same kind, usually expressed as 'a to b' or a:b

In a proportion a:b=c:d the terms a and f are called antecendents, the terms b and d are called consequent, a and d are said extremes, b and c are means.

Operations Properties

Properties of arithmetic operations on numerical sets, with a b c genetic elements of the set.

Associativity of Addition

A+(b+c)=(a+b)+c=a+b+c

Communativity of Addition

A+b=b+a
