Behavioral Learning Theory
Behavioral learning theory suggests that people learn socially, by stimulation, or through repetition. (e.g. When a social error leads to teasing assists in learning acceptable social conventons, etc.)
Cognitive Learning Theories
It suggests that learning takes place within the mind. It goes further to explain that the mind processes ideas through brain mapping and connections with other material and experiences. With cognitve theories, learning is internal. We see something, analyze it in our minds, and make sense of it for ourselves. Then, if we choose to copy it, we do, but we do so having internalized the process.
