DEXTERITY
Definition- skill and grace in using your hands
Example- The man had a lot of dexterity in his fingers so he could play the piano well.
FICKLE
Definition- always changing your mind
Jim ShoeS was very fickle and couldn't decide if he wanted to wear his new Nike or New Balance shoes.
Elevate
Definition- to move to a higher a place or rank
Example- After Annie Matter made an important discovery about anti matter she was elevated to be the boss of the physics lab.
GARLAND
Definition- A wreath made of flowers or leaves
Penny Lane made some beautiful wreaths to decorate her house on Penny Lane.
FLAMMABLE
After crashing his car again and his gasoline spilled, Rex Easley had to be careful not to start a fire, since gas is so flammable.
HORDE

Definition- based on facts

FANCIFUL
Definition- not based on facts; unreal
Example- A griffin is a fanciful, mythical creature.
CONGENIAL
Definition- agreeable, suitable, or pleasing in nature or character
Example- Since the class was very congenial the substitute had a good day.
DISAGREEABLE
Definition-Having a quarrelsome, bad-tempered manner
Example- The disagreeable sixth grader had a tough time since he liked to argue with people so much.
LENIENT
Definition- Inclined not to be harsh or strict; merciful, or generous
The class took advantage of the lenient teacher and therefore did not learn as much as they should have.
SEVERE
Definition-harsh; unnecessarily extreme
Example- Trina Forest wanted to pass a law that would make the punishment for cutting down the forest more harsh.
ENTICE
Definition- To attract by arousing hope or desire; lure
Example- The commercial promising lower gas prices enticed Phil Rupp to the new gas station down the street.
REPEL
Defiinition- to drive someone away
Example- Even though he was a good doctor, Dr. Hurts' name repel some potential customers.
TRANSPARENT
Definition- something that is easily seen through
Example- The lie was very transparent and BobJim's parents could easily see through it.
OPAQUE
Definition- does not allow light or understanding through
Example- The problem remained opaque despite many explanations.
