Describe 2 ways to change your view of a document

You can choose commands from the View menu to zoom in or out of a document, or fit it to your screen; you can slo use the Zoom tool in the Tools panel, and click or drag over a document to enlarge or reduce the view. In addition, you can also use the Navigator panel to scroll artwork or change its magnification without using the document window.

How do you select tools in illustrator?

To select a tool, you can either click the tool in the tools panel or press the tools keyboard shortcut. Ex. you can press V to select the selection tool from the keyboard. Selected tools remain active until you click a dif. tool.

Describe 3 ways to change the panel display:

You can click a panel's tab or choose Window> Panel name to make the panel appear. You can drag a panel's tab to seperate the panel from its group ot to remove it from a dock and create a new group, or drag the panel into another group. You can drag a panel's group's title bar to move the entire group. Double-click a panels tab to cycle through a panels various sizes. You can also press shift+ tab to hide or display all panels.

Choose window> workspace> save workspace to create coustom work areas and make it easier to find the controls you need.

Items that have no fill must be seleccted by clicking the stroke.

Using the group selection tool, you can click once for an individual item within a group. Continue to click to add the next grouped items to the selection.

Using the direct selection tool, you can select one or more indivdual anchor points and make changes to the shape of an object.

For any selection that you will need to use again, choose select> save selection. Name the selection and reselect it at any time form the select menu.

choose object> Hide> Selection. The object is not deleted, just hidden in the same position until you choose object> show all.
