Zygote-The zygote contains all of the DNA necessary far a child. The zygote travels down the Fallopian tube and divides to form a ball of cells.
Embryo- cells multiply and begin to take on specific functions (differentiation). Rapid growth, external features begin to take form. Critical period- baby is most susceptible to damage. Fetus- a developing baby from about eight weeks after conception |
