Abstract
In an argument, this is an attack on the person rather than on the opponent's ideas. It comes from the Latin meaning "against the man."

Allegory
The repetition of initial consonant sounds, such as "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers."
Alliteration
A reference to another more famous work (such as the Bible and the Mythology) contained in a work
Allusion
