Where is the thymus located?
An irregular mass of glandular tissue overlying the heart.
Where is the heart located?
Medial oval structure enclosed within the pericardium (serous membrane sac).

Tube running from the indented region of a kidney to the urinary bladder.
Where is the urinary bladder located?
The sac that serves as a reservoir for urine. It lies midline of the body cavity and is inferior to many organs.
What is the inferior vena cava?
The large vein that returns blood to the heart from the lower regions of the body
Where is the descending aorta located and what is its function?
Located deep to the inferior vena cava; the largest artery of the body; carries blood away from the heart down the midline of the body.
