after the first episode, the main actors leave and the chorus stays. the ode usually reflects on the things said and done in the episodes

at the end of the play the chorus exits singing a song. offers words of wisdom/moral.
parados (theater structure)
is one of two gangways on which chorus and actors made their entrances from either sides of the orchestra. also a passageway where the audience enters.

where the performance happens. "the dancing place". because everyone needed to see, it was made circular
