Ampho B
MOA= Bings ergosterol in membrane to tear holes --> leaks

Uses= used in systemic mycoses (cryptococcus, aspergillus, etc)

Toxic= Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bone marrow suppression
Nystatin
Only used for oral mouth wash and topical cream
Caspofungin
MOA= inhibit cell wall synthesis

Use= Invasive Aspergillis

Toxic= GI upset, flushing
Terbinafine
MOA= blocks squalene epoxidase (Step in ergosterol synthesis)

Use= Topical dermatophytoses (oncychomycoses)
Griseofulvin
MOA= interupts microtubule fxn, blocks mitosis, accumulates in nails

Use= Oral trt for dermatophytoses (tinea, ringworm)

Toxic= Teratogen, carcinogen, confusion, increases warfarin metabolism
