Labia and clitoris is removed, excess skin is also removed. Seen as tradition. Children are circumcised to keep them virgins. If the clitoris isn't cut, the female isn't a virgin, and so it's shameful for the mother.

Canes are pushed down the mens throat so they puke. Sharp reefs are pushed up their nose. Their tongues are then pierced with a small sharp arrow, where the blood then flows into the river. They are now cleansed.

The men cannot marry unless they have done the blood initiation. It's done to remove the contamination of women that runs through their blood. The blood initiation symbolizes boys becoming men.
