Where is Epithelial Tissue found?
It makes up all the glands. It is found all over the skin.
What are the different types of Epithelial Tissue?
Lining Epithelium, Transitional Epithelium, Differentiated Epithelium, Sensory Epithelium, Exocrine Glandular Epithelium, and Endocrine Glandular Epithelium.
Its function is to play an "interface" role between the inside and outside of the body.
Lining Epithelium
It takes on very different shapes and it makes up specific body structures. (hair, nails, teeth, ....)
Differentiated Epithelium
It makes up those glands that release their product into the blood stream.
Endocrine Glandular Epithelium
It is the characteristic of the urinary tract.
Transitional Epithelium
It makes up those glands that secrete their products outside the body or inside a cavity connected to the outside.
Exocrine Glandular Epithelium
It is made up by "elastic" cells, and plays a major role in movement and support.
Muscle Tissue
Where is Muscle Tissue found?
Everywhere.

Striated, Smooth, and Cardiac
It is made up by excitable cells, which are specialized in transmitting stimuli.
Nerve Tissue
