Sagittial plane / median plane

vertical plane that divides the body into left and right segments.




Dividing the body into two equal halves is the midsagittial plane.

Frontal & coronal Plane

Divides body into the front and back halves.

Transverse /horizontal plane

parallel with the ground and divides the body into upper and lower halves.
