var 1. he calls you bet... on turn if he bets again just call small hand small pot.. If he checks the turn bet 50/50 1/2 pot bets Var 2. He bets you raise he reraises fold 80/call20 to demonstrate you can't be pushed out of the hand automatically.. you can't risk your whole stack w just an overpair var 3. Raise 20%/call 80% With top pair once the first bet goes into the pot and gets called hands that can't beat top pair go away and hands that can keep playing be cautious with A,Q having said this we will make a small number of raises

You can't fold here. He might have hit a pair and thinks it might be good if you were playing two high cards. He probably doesn't have a draw unless it's something like seven-six since his bet has raised the possibility of your taking him off his hand. So you can put him on one pair, two pair a set or a bluff. It's too soon to fold and a small number of raises are indicated with your over pair. He checks...Bet 80% ck 20% When he checks draws become much more likely. Now you have to go into offense/defense mode making bets most of the time to charge the draws.
