-Quickly disovered, possible to cordon off contaminated/attack area.
-Rapid, usually minutes to hours after attack. -Easlily observed (colored residue, dead foilage, pungent odor, dead insects and animals). -Can be treated with chemical antidotes. -After decontamination and/or weather, no further need for protection measures or risk of further contamination. |

What is the operational life of M9 paper?

-One year in temperate, tropic and desert regions.
-Two years, in frigid zones after removal from shipping bag. -Shelf life is 8 years from manufactured date. |

What is the advantage of M-8 paper over M-9 paper?
|
M-9 paper will only change RED when it detects a chemical agent, whereas M-8 paper will change GOLD (G-series nerve), RED (H- or L- series blister) or BLUE/GREEN ( V-series nerve) depending on the chemical agent.
