What are 3 types of reports? |

Concurrent reports |
-Provide record of significant performance in additional duty or temporary additional duty statues -May not be submitted by anyone in the reporting seniors direct chain of command -optional |

-Optional -Only submitted by commanding officers or officers in charge -by operational commanders that are not their reporting senior -May be counter signed by reporting senior who has power to reject it |

What is a performance information memorandum? |
-To report performance information to another command for consideration of a fitrep or eval. -When one is in duty. Tempdu. DUINS. TEMPDUINS. -alterbative to concurrent report |

What are/ is Administrative blocks |
-Admin blocks identify the report and it's context, making it informative to detailers and selection boards. -permits bupers compliance audits to make it fair for all service members and reporting seniors -each command should have a quality review process for evals/fitreps |

Explain guidance on trait grade |
The meaning of 1-5 is on the eval sheet. Used to grade a member
Two blocking is detrimental for two reasons . -The reporting seniors average eval will be available to detailers -difficult to allocate promotion recommendations if everyone has the same trait block filled in |

Promotion recommendations summary group |
Promo recommendations should be consistent with performance trait grades. And with individual trait average. Do no give "early promote" because they are available. Persons must earn the grade. Do not recommend people who cannot carry responsibilities of next rank. |

Misconduct reporting |
Adverse or downgraded fitness and evaluation reports may not be directed as punishment or used as an alternative to the proper disposition of misconduct under the ucmj |

What are 3 types of court martial |
-Summary -Special court martial. -General court martial |

Explain summary court martial |
Composed of active duty officer with captain rank or higher. Lowest level to convene a court martial is is battalion commanding officer or equal.
May adjudge any punishment not forbidden by UCMJ -Cannot be confined more than 1 month with hard labor -without confinement for 45 days -Restriction more than two months -Cannot forfeit more than a months pay
May request special court martial or general court martial. But any conviction under general or special court martial will be tried as a convicted felony |

Can adjudge any punishment not forbidden by the UCMJ including... -Confinement for more than 6 months, -Hard labor without confinement for more than 3 months, or -forfeiture 2/3 pay for 6 months. -Bad conduct discharge -Reduction in rank Can be composed of military judge alone with the option of 3 member and can be enlisted or officers. If enlisted then 1/3 can be enlisted. (Jury) (If officer is tried then can't have enlisted of warrant officer) Lowest level of authority to convene a court martial is usually a squadron or battalion commander. I |
