Since it is the sabath, they go into the synagouge where they are asked to give a word of encouragement. Paul addresses the God-fearing Jews and Gentiles and tells them about Samuel, Abraham, and Davis. Then he tells him the Good News and the people ask them to come back to the synagouge the next week. They did and there were Jews that were jealous and spoke abusively against what Paul was saying. Barnabas and Paul both addressed them and told them since they rejected it, the Gentiles can now accept it. The Gentiles were happy and the Gosple spread. Those who despised them joined forces and kicked them out of the city, but the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit.
