Absorbs other injested Drugs. If given with syrup of Ipeac, charcoal may be vomited. Precautions: may blacken feces, must be stored in closed container, does no absorb all drugs including: Phenobarbital, Aspririn, cyanide, lithium, iron, lead, and arsenic.
What are the side effects of Activated Charcoal?
N/V may induce constipation and diarrhea.
