Ambiguous

open to more than one interpretation; having a double meaning.

Consonance

Assonance

in poetry, the repetition of the sound of a vowel or diphthong in nonrhyming stressed syllables near enough to each other for the echo to be discernible (e.g., penitence, reticence ).

Alliteration

the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.

Rhyme Scheme

End Rhyme

End rhyme is defined as when a poem has lines ending with words that sound the same. An example of end rhyme is the poem, Star Light, Star Bright.
