Manual mode inputs?

PRL, ice limiter, duct rate sensor, master temp sensor, temp programmer

Auto mode inputs?

PRL, ice limiter

Auto mode temperature?

18-29 C

APU and EDC running, what happens?

Blower fans energize, aux vent opens, edc dump, firewall sov closes, amp opens, load control valve opens.

2 protective circuits for the amp?

Thermal sensing, pressure sensing

When is dehumidification required?

30 minutes or longer in a humid enviroment

What should the temp selector read?

Manual mode 1 dot or warmer

Disconnect and dump power source?

Medc

Outflow valve power source?

Feac

Temp programmer power source?

MEAC

Rapid decompression memory items?

Pressurization ground check test switch-test

Ground ac-on

How is the dump valve spring loaded?

Spring loaded to open

6 ways to dump EDC?

Ground ac, aux vent, refer overheat in flight, e handle, dump switch, scissor switch

4 things that happen when aux vent opens?

Aux vent opens, outflow valve opens, edc dump, aux vent closes at 1 inch differential

Negative safety relief valve?

Will open if outside pressure exceeds cabin pressure

EDC TEMP HIGH LITE

CAUSE- edc oil temp excessive, low oil level in sump, engine oil temp high.

ACTION-

A. Check engine oil temp, if high correct.

B. If unable to control, disconnect, monitor for loss of spread, dump, continue operation.

C. If spread is indicated after disconnect, execute emergency shutdown procedure, if engine allowed to operate due to greater emergency, EDC should be dumped.

D. Refer to ac system malfunctions.

EDC PRESS LOW LITE

CAUSE- edc oil pressure is low. Low level in sump. EDC drive shaft sheared.

ACTION-

A. With loss of spread, disconnect and dump edc. Continue operation.

B. If spread is indicated, disconnect and monitor for loss of spread, dump. Continue operation.

C. If spread is indicated after disconnect, execute emergency shutdown procedure. If allowed to operate due to a greater emergency, edc should be dumped.

D. Refer to ac system malfunction.

REFER OVERHEAT LITE

CAUSE- temp in cooling duct exceeds safe limits. On ground: inop heat exchanger blower fans.

ACTION-

In flight, dump edc. After light is out, operation is permitted in the manual mode 2 dot or warmer.

On ground, turn off ground ac switch, investigate by checking heat exchange and blower fans. If cb are set and light is out, operation is permitted in manual mode 2 for or warmer.

FUS DUCT HOT LITE

CAUSE- leak in area around crossship manifold, creating excessive pressure. Can be caused by leak in bleed air manfolid, APU bleed air lines, or edc plumbing.

ACTION-

1. On ground, secure ground ac and all engine and APU bleed air, return to the line.

2. In flight, close all engine bleed air and fuselage sov

3. If light remains on, dump edc one st a time.

4. Of light remains on, land as soon as possible.

Flow limiting inlet vanes?

Limit compressor surges

What does the dump valve regulate?

Regulates edc surges by dumping excess air.
