Depressurize pneumatically?

Aircraft altitude-not above 12k

Cabin altitude-set 10k

BAR. CORR knob-set 28 in hg

Rate knob-maximum

Pressurization loss?

1. Don smoke masks

2. Alert crewrap

Rapid Decompression?

1. Pressurization ground check switch-TEST*

2. Ground air conditioning switch-ON*

3. Ground air sense CB-pull

4. Press ground check switch-normal

-if scissor switch failure and performance of the above procedure, the ground air sensing CB should be reset after landing rollout.

Emergency depress procedure?

1. Aux vent-open

2. Outflow valve-open

3. EDC-dump

4. Aux vent-close at 1in differential.

Without electricity

5. Free fall chute-open

Emergency descent procedures?

1. Autopilot-disengaged

2. Power levers-flight idle

3. Landing gear lever-as required

4. Airspeed-as required

5.pressurization-as required

AC malfunction in flight?

In the event that one EDC is inop and the cabin exhaust fan is inoperable, reduce cabin electrical load to only that used for navigation should the cabin temp rise excessively.

NOTE- climbing to altitude of opening equipment doors will decrease the efficiency of the AC system.

Ground air sending switch PS?

SEDC- start control CB

MDC- ground air sensing CB

MEDC- aux vent control CB

Ground air sending switch PS?

SEDC- start control CB

MDC- ground air sensing CB

MEDC- aux vent control CB

Temp selector auto mode?

1 Dot- 21C

2 Dot- 23C

3 Dot-27C

Water separator?

Green-(0-2.9"hg)

Yellow-(2.9-4.1"hg)

Red-(4.1-higher)

.....

Yellow- prevents a valve from closing

Red-opens a valve

When is PRL disabled?

Disabled in low RPM.

Refer overheat light..

•CAUSE

-Temp in the cooling duct exceeds safe limits. On ground: inoperative heat exchanger blower fan.

•ACTION

-In flight, dump EDC. After light is out, operation is permitted in the manual mode at the two dot position or warmer.

- On deck, turn off the ground AC switch, investigate by checking the heat exchanger CB on bus b and blower control on medc. If CB are set and light is out, operation is permitted in the manual mode 2-dot or warmer.

EDC TEMP HIGH

•CAUSE

-EDC oil temp excessive. Los oil level in sump. High engine oil temp. NOTE- low intensity illumination of the EDC temp high is acceptable unless accompanied by a master press light.

•ACTION

A. Check engine oil temp, if high correct.

B. If unable to control, disconnect, monitor for loss of spread, dump, continue.

C. If spread is indicated after disconnect, execute handle procedure. If engine allowed to operate due to a greater emergency, then EDC should be dumped.

D. Refer to AC system malfunction.

•NOTE-if on ground and mission should be aborted, ensure normal rpm selected and ground AC on prior to disconnect.

Effects of explosive decompression?

Gas pains, rush of air from lungs, momentary dazed, hypoxia.
