Acetazolamide MOA
inhibits carbonic anhydrase from catalyzing the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide and dehydration of carbonic acid. In the eye, carbonic anhydrase inhibition reduces aqueous humor production resulting to a decrease in intraocular pressure. It also delays abnormal, paroxysmal excessive discharge from central nervous system neurons and affects promotion of diuresis and urinary alkalinization

Furosemide MOA
Furosemide is an anthranilic acid derivative and a potent diuretic that works by blocking the absorption of sodium and chloride in the kidney tubules (proximal and distal tubules, also in the loop of Henle), causing a profound increase in urine output

Spironolactone MOA
It inhibits the effect of aldosterone by competing for the aldosterone-dependent sodium-potassium exchange site in the distal tubule cells. This increases the secretion of water and sodium, while decreasing the excretion of potassium

Sodium Polystyrene Sulfonate MOA
Local: Antihyperkalemic—In the intestine (mostly the large intestine), sodium ions are released and are replaced by potassium and other cations before the resin is passed from the body.
