wolfe-parkinsons white syndrom: pre-excitation of ventricles of the heart due to an accessory pathway known as the bundle of Kent. This accessory pathway is an abnormal electrical communication from the atria to the ventricles during supraventricular tachycardia the individual may have symptoms of palpitations (sudden onset and termination of a fast heart rate), dizziness, shortness of breath, and occasionally fainting/near fainting during episodes of supraventricular tachycardia. An ECG will show the telltale "Delta wave".
