What does AAC mean?

What is the use.purpose of an AAC Device?

They supplement deficient oral comm by providing alt means of communication for children that are limited orally.

What is facilitated communication?
|
Hand over hand guidance used to facilitate language with severely impaired children. Physical contact is used with the child's hand, wrist, or elbow to facilitate pointing, writing, or typing a message.
