Examples: 14.68137, -105.21, 3.14, 8.0, 8, -8

Examples: Pi is the most famous irrational number. Also, square roots of whole numbers that are not perfect squares.

Helpful tip: A synonym for "irrational" is "ridiculous" and it would be ridiculous for someone to ask you to write all the number that are in pi.
