What was the program developed by the freshmen committee.
The program proposed as the serious purpose of the fraternity the encouragement of scholarship on the part of the freshmen, who were prospective members of the fraternity.  It was voted later in the year, however, that after the entrance of the Class of 1918 no freshmen were to be admitted to Alpha Chapter.
