Puritans are people that wanted to reform the Chruch of England. They lived strict standards to make up for thier sins. They believed in working hard and staying away from gambling, drinking, and swearing.
Anne Hutchinson
a Puritan from Boston that questioned the teachings of the Puritans. Like Roger Williams, this person was forced to leave Massachusetts.
Thomas Hook
a minister that disagreed with Puritan leaders. He left Massachusetts and settled Connecticut with others.
