The plan that God has for every human being. It is important that we do what God asks of us in this life. This will help us to reach Heaven. God wills that all people obey His holy law. But there are some things that are meant for the individual only, such as what kind of life he or she is to live (priest, nun, married, etc.). We can learn this for us by prayer and by seeking the advice of our parents and priests.

Another word for gospel. The gospel is this that we are freed from sin and able to enter Heaven. This has been accomplished for us by Jesus' death and Resurrection. The gospel is also this because it reveals to us the truth. Jesus' teachings in the 4 Gospels show us how to live if we want to reach Heaven. This is why the Gospel is read at every Holy Mass.

In the Gospels, this means both Heaven and the Church. It is also called this and the Reign of God. People belong to this spiritual place by faith in Jesus Christ and the reception of Baptism.
