Sacrifice of the Mass
|
The greatest worship which the Church gives to God. In this Sacrifice, the priest offers God the most precious gift we have: the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. At the end of the Eucharistic Prayer, the priest lifts up the consecrated Host and chalice to show us that he is offering Christ up to God in sacrifice.
