Articles of Confederations |
1. The original constitution, to pass a law, every state had to agree, slaves were not counted to the population, etc. 2. Couldn't pass taxes, regulate trade, each state got 1 vote, no executive branch, and no judicial branch. 3. Could not find. 4. All of the states. |

Depression |
1. A long or severe recession in an economy or market. 2. Because the government couldn't collect taxes, southern plantations were destroyed. |

Shay's Rebellion |
1. Daniel Shays. 2. Farmers, because they couldn't grow crops, thus preventing them from being able to pay off war debts. 3. Cruel, and unfair. 4. They started a mob and made the courts close. 5. Gunmen killed four farmers, and the rebellion disbanded 6. The people worried the government could not handle unrest and prevent violence. |

1. Edmund Randolph, or James Madison. 2. It called for a two house legislature in which representation would be based on a state's population. There would be an executive and judicial branch. |

Three Fifths Compromise |
1. All slaves counted as 3/5 of a person. 2. Because southern states wanted more delegates. 3. They needed more delegates to represent their state. 4. They thought it was silly, because they didn't have slaves. |

Great Compromise |
1. They couldn't agree on the NJ or VA plan, so they compromised, and made a bicameral legislature as well as a house of representatives. 2. Yeah, it seems completely fair, because small states get say, and big states get say, it's all equal. |
