What is Osteomalacia due to?


Caused by Vitamin D deficiency.


Can result from malabsorption, renal disease (familial hypophosphataemic rickets), chronic renal failure, anticonvulsant therapy)

Low pH, normal-ish PaCO2, low-is PaO2
