Solomon
Son of king David through Bathsheba; ruled over a vast empire; wisest man who ever lived (next to Christ); intermarriage for political purposes led to disobedience, introduction of idolatry, and judgment.

Rebelled against Rehoboah; became the first king of divided Israel (the northern kingdom).
Rehoboam
Son of Solomon; first king of Judah (the southern kingdom); the kingdom split under his leadership.

The prophet of God from Tishbe; defeated the prophets of Baal on Carmel.

Wicked king of Israel and foe of Elijah; married to Jezebel.
