Slope Intercept Form
Equation of a straight line, where m is the slope of the line and b is the y-intercept
y = mx +b
y = 4x + 2
Point-Slope Form
The equation of a straight line in the form ; y – y1 = m(x – x1)
where m is the slope of the line, and (x1, y1) are the points of the line.
y – 16 = 2 ( x – 4 )
Slope Formula
Equation or formula mostly used when given two points;

m = [y1 - y2] / [x1 - x2]
m= [-8 – 3] / [5 – 10]
Standard Form
The general form of linear functions

Ax + By = C
3x + y = 16
Horizontal Line
Line that runs across like a sunset.

also known as; y = b

Where: [x] is the coordinate of any point on the line and [b]is where the line crosses the y-axis (y intercept).
y = (9/3)
