ἀνδράποδα

slaves

μεγάθεϊ οὐ μεγάλη ἄλλως δὲ καλή τε καὶ ἀγαθὴ καὶ ἀγχοῦ Ἰωνίης,χρήματα δὲ ἔνι πολλὰ καὶ ἀνδράποδα.

not great in size but otherwise beautiful both good and near Ionia, rich in wealth and slaves.

Hence having put things in motion, you will easily fall upon Euboea, an island both great and fortunate, not smaller than Cyprus and very easy to conquer.
