Interoffice Memorandums (MEMO)
Written messages used by employees within an organization to communicate with one another.
Insert
Active when you open a software program. Move the point (cursor) to where you want to insert text; key the new text. Inserts characters into existing text.
Typover (Overstrike)
Allows you to replace current text with newly keyed text.
Autocorrect
Detects and corrects some typing, spelling, and capitalization errors for you automatically.
Underline
Underlines text as it is keyed.
Italics
Prints letters that slope up toward the right.
Bold
Prints text darker than other copy as it is keyed.
Undo
Used to reverse the last change you made in text. Restores text to its original location, even if you have moved the insertion point to another position.
Redo
Reverses the last undo action.
Hyphenation
Automatically divides (hyphenates) words that would normally wrap to the next line. This evens the right margin, making the text more attractive.
Speller
Checks words, documents, or parts of documents for misspellings. Words are compared to an internal dictionary

Allows you to see the whole document before sending it to the printer.

Blocking Text
Selecting or highlighting text on which various operations may be performed; such as, bolded, italicized, underlined, deleted, copied, moved, printed, saved, etc.
Cut
Removes selected text from the current location.
Paste
Places the selected text at another location.
Copy
Copies the selected text so it can be placed in another location (pasted), leaving the original text unchanged.
Center Page
Used to center lines of text between the top and bottom margins of the page. This feature leaves an equal amount of space above and below the text.

Used to format envelopes for the documents you create.
