Basic construction and design features
25’SAFE BOAT the hull is constructed from 5086 marine aluminum. The hull design is a deep V mono-hull with a pointed bow and a flat transom. A layer of 2-part, maintenance free, polyurethane foam covers the bottom 4 inches of the hull (sound insulation). Stabilizing fins on port and starboard sides provide lift upon acceleration and create a vacuum for stabilization during turning. Three custom lifting strakes are built into the hull and improve seakeeping, directional stability, and planing performance. A ¼ in. beaching plate is welded to the keel to provide additional protection to the hull.
