PROSCAR
Proscar prevents the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. DHT is involved in the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Dutasteride
(Avodart) Prostate growth is thought to be caused by a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). For men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), DHT levels continue to increase, causing the prostate to grow beyond its normal size.

Over time, AVODART has been shown to shrink the size of an enlarged prostate, improve urinary symptoms due to BPH, and reduce the risk of acute urinary retention and the need for prostate-related surgery.
Tamsulosin hydrochloride
is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate.

Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. (Flomax) Tamsulosin hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether.
danazol
(Danocreme) induces is a synthetic steroid derived from ethisterone. It is a white to pale yellow crystalline powder, practically insoluble or insoluble in water, and sparingly soluble in alcohol
