-The licensee permit holder is the arrested regardless of charge -an order protection exists against the licensee permit holder -Incident involves physical force or the threat of physical force -circumstances lead to the belief that continued presence of a firearm would create an unjustifiable risk of unlawful use or possession of the firearm or injury to license permit holder or another person -further investigation by the license division is needed to determine whether the actions of the license permit holder affect their qualifications for the license or permit -any other situation that may affect Public Safety
Invoice firearm only on property clerk invoice include the following statement in the remarks section of the property clerk invoice "firearm shall not be released without written authorization of the commanding officer license division " do not prepare a PCI for the license or permit - prepare a typed letter head to the commanding officer license division for all it's its unless complete report OLBS arrest worksheet or New York State DIR unusual occurrence report or other type letterhead was prepared detailing an explanation of the situation - forward the following to the license division it's in section copy of all the party reports prepared a relation to incident any seized license or permit is applicable, typed letterhead if applicable -in the case of an arrest or an order protection or any assessment of eminent danger if the fire and cannot be obtained by consent and there is probable cause to believe that they are in a particular location search warrant will be up teen prior to seizure firearm and unless exigent circumstances justify immediate seizure the supervisor assigned will make every effort to obtain the firearm either by consent or a search warrant |

First supervisor on scene immediately respond to the incident command post once established and remain at incident command post until relief Or ICP is demobilized Advise FDNY incident commander of number of MOS inside the affected building including unit designation and last known location this is done by both the patrol supervisor and UMOS |
