Cuts shall be between 5 eights and 7 eights inches in depth and should have approximately half inch wider with then the cross arm to assure proper fit. Remove material to create stable mounting surface using proper framing chisel and hammer. Perform QC check of gain ( hole centered in gain surface perpendicular to Pole, gain is square with Pole and has proper depth).
