1.) The South leaders were Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee, the North had Joseph Hooker. 2.) The winners were again the South. 3.) Both Hooker and Lee split their forces into 2 in Virginia. Some stayed back to defend Fredericksburg from the North, then one group went to Chancellorsville, and the second caught the Union by surprise. 4.) Stonewall Jackson died because one of the Confederate soldiers shot him on accident. His arm was then amputated. |

1.) The Siege of Vicksburg took place in Vicksburg, Mississippi. By the Mississippi River. 2.) The North leader was Ulysses Grant and Robert E. Lee was the leader of the South. 3.) Vicksburg is the town/city that controlled the Mississippi River. 4.) The Siege of Vicksburg took 47 days to end. 5.) The Siege was meant to distract the South while the North captured the Port of Hudson. 6.) Food and anything they could find 7.) To block the entry and output of the city. |
