LINKING VERB
Links the subject to a subject complement. ex: Love <is> blind.
PREDICATE NOUN
A subject complement that renames the subject. ex: The handwriting on the wall may be a <forgery>
TRANSITIVE VERB
A verb that: is an action verb (kick,want) and has a direct object (something that receives the action. ex: Sylvia <kicked> Juan junder the table.
ACTIVE VOICE
The subject doing the action and a direct object receiving the action. ex: The early bird sometimes catches the early worm.
